What first got you into electrical work?
Was it the challenge of solving problems or just seeing things come to life when the switch flips?
Was the need for money started it all?
Were you tinkering with something that kick-started it all?

For me, it took some years before I finally figured out that being a linesman in Michigan- back in the old climb-the-transmission-tower days was just too darn cold! (Being an electrician paid much more, too.)

Honestly? Curiosity. Took apart way too many things as a kid just to see how they worked. Eventually figured I might as well get paid to do it the right way.

Haha, for me it started with pure curiosity… and maybe a tiny bit of “I bet I can fix that.” Next thing I knew, I was knee-deep in breaker panels and absolutely hooked. There’s no going back once you get that first “it works!” moment.
