Wife and I are finally on the works for our dream house. I promised here she can also rely on me with the electric works, so I'm working closely with the engineer and architect. I'd love for the game room to have this badass ceiling fan. What's the best way to go about it?

Nice, congratulations on your dream house! The key to installing a badass ceiling fan starts from the structural support. Make sure the plan includes reinforced ceiling joints or a fan-rated junction box attached directly to a sturdy support. You wouldn't want any wobbling or worse, for that fan to fall down! Also for ease and convenience, consider pre-wiring for a remote control. It's a small add-on but something that needs to be considered during construction!

Congratulations, man! Big step! Maybe you can try a smart fan for voice/app control and vibe? Not necessary but this is gonna work. Maybe ask your engineer if it's viable.

Celebrate your big wins! that's sounds so cool!

since you're already working with the engineer and architect, maybe they can point you where's the best spot to install it? get them to look at the fan you're planning to get so they know what to do
