garage door getting on my nerves

I've got a Chamberlain garage door opener that's getting on my nerves, and I hope someone can help me figure out what's the issue. the opener has a control board (part #041A5034) that supplies power to the transformer. The problem is that sometimes when I plug it into the mains, it doesn't power back on. But if I unplug it and plug it back in a couple of times, it eventually comes to life. I've checked the board for any signs of damage burn marks, bad solder joints, etc. but everything looks fine. Can someone enlighten me on what's the possible issue here?

It's probably that either the plug or socket is malfunctioning or something. Double check for a loose wire! May also be PSU.
