chandelier lift installation pricing

I just finished a chandelier lifts installation for high ceiling that took two of us a day and a half to install and hang
my pricing felt way off. I quoted $1100, while two other bids came in at $800 and $900
does that timeline sound right for these units, or am I just remembering why I used to avoid them?

I’d look at what you actually included in the $1100. Lift mounting, wiring, control location, hanging the fixture, testing, cleanup, and the “if this goes sideways it’s on us” factor. If the other bids didn’t include fixture hang or they were hand-waving the access plan, that price gap makes sense.

A day and a half for two people on a high ceiling lift install does not sound crazy at all, especially if access and wiring were not perfect. $1100 also does not feel wildly off to me if you owned the risk and the finish work.
