Anyone else playing weather roulette with job scheduling?

Man, this weather’s been unpredictable. I’ll line up a full day of work and then lose half of it to rain or wind. Between the early sunsets and random cold fronts, late fall scheduling is turning into a guessing game. I’ve started leaving my afternoons open just in case a job gets pushed or the weather clears up, but it’s tough to plan around that. What’s everyone else doing? Do you just reschedule outdoor work or try to move it indoors when possible? I’m trying not to overbook, but at the same time, there’s that year-end rush to get things wrapped up. Pennsylvania weather’s making it a challenge to balance both.

I’ve started lining up backup indoor jobs just in case. If the outdoor one gets rained out, I pivot. It’s a pain, but it keeps the day from being a total loss.

yeah, tell me about it. I rescheduled around 3 works this week because of the rain, but I'm lining up indoor jobs too

You're sure right about unpredictable weather, Decoy! Mother Nature has been getting mighty cranky these last few years.

It wasn't an electrical project, but on a bright, sunny, zero percent chance of rain day; as soon as my new concrete was floated to perfection- Downpour!

At work, we continued in rain unless a lightening alert was called. (Not residential or commercial work) We won't wire-in an outdoor panelboard, pad mount transformer, switch gear or system controller when it's raining or snowing, but general pipe work & pulling continues.
