4K or 5K Temp for hotel lobby lights

I'm changing out panel lights in my friend's hotel lobby tomorrow and can't decide on the color temperature
Should I go with 4K or 5K? Or maybe try a mix, like 5K for the main area and 4K in the seating areas? Any quick advice on which color temp is best for a lobby space?

is it a classic style lobby or a modern style? if it's a classic style, stick to 3000K-3500K (soft white) for most areas to feel warm and relaxing, similar to residential spaces
if it's a modern one, use 4000K (neutral white) for general lighting. giving a balanced, natural feel, and potentially 5000K (cool white/daylight) in very specific spots like reception for focus, but be cautious mixing with warmer tones

Also watch the CRI (Color Rendering Index) of the new lamps. Some lamps are quite low on the scale- even 80 or less.

I've been in some areas that were retrofitted to LED and colors look awful. People look like anemic space aliens. Once in a banquet hall restroom I noticed the harsh & odd colors in the mirror- both from probably high Kelvin and low CRI. I wonder how women could put on their war paint with those goofy colors.

Ninety or above is a good target for accurate color rendering.
