When setting up multiple knockouts in a panel its good to know how far apart one conduit is from another, measured from center to center. To use the chart, here's what you do. Say you've got a 1-inch conduit next to a half-inch one. Find half-inch at the top of the chart and 1-inch on the left side. The chart shows they should be 1 and 3/4 inches apart, center to center.

make sure to measure the distance between conduits from center to center to ensure proper spacing. For example, if you're placing a 1 inch conduit next to a ½ inch one, refer to the chart. Find ½ inch on the top and 1 inch on the left. according to the chart, the center-to-center distance should be 1 ¾ inches.

Nice breakdown. That chart's a lifesaver when you're tight on panel space and want it looking pro. Beats eyeballing and hoping for the best!

As far as I know there isn't a maximum fill percentage that would limit you about how close to have the conduits. It's more of a panel design and how many connectors, locknuts and wires you can have.
 
Appreciate this. I'm wondering if the chart considers different panel sizes, or if it's just for standard ones. I've noticed thicker panels sometimes let you put things closer together, but it's always safer to have more space between holes.
