New here TR receptacles in commercial break rooms

Hello, I'm looking for some clarity on TR receptacles in break rooms. Our manager is having trouble with microwaves and phone chargers, and I'm wondering if the NEC has different rules for employee areas versus public areas. Thanks for having me.
