So I'm getting ready to install 133 six-inch recessed lights in a house and started wondering, should I go with wafers instead of traditional can lights? I am thinking wafers might be easier, but are mounting plates a must? Would love to hear if anyone had any trouble during install

I like to install using can housings because they give more choice with LED trims or lamp and trim assemblies. If you decide to go with wafer lights,it's important to use rough-in plates. This helps you avoid having to cut the drywall based solely on your own measurements. While some people might prefer using wafers, the most important thing is to find what works best for the customer's needs
