I've done the Inspection & Training course, now what?

I have been training and gaining work experience on this for 3 years now, so I believe I could have asked this question a little earlier. Do I need to be scheme-registered to do EICRs? As far as I know, it's not legally required but it helps with trust.

So now, what? Should I be in a scheme?

Well these days it appears not being in one these days is like showing up to a job with no tools… you can do it, but good luck convincing anyone to hire you. They aren't legally mandatory, but they do a lot of the talking for you when it comes to trust and credibility.
