I'm setting up a shared extractor fan controlled by two independent switched live lighting circuits (240V AC) but want to avoid double pole switches due to cost and complexity. Thanks for the follow up. The advice here was on point. I went with the Schneider relay and got it all wired up last week. The neutral is pulled from the fan's supply circuit and I made sure to label all the connections clearly to prevent any future issues.
