My daughter has just started renting a house. The original 50cm cooker turns on fine . You can have the oven and a single large plate and small plate on the hob on without any issues but it trips the MCB if you switch on any of the additional hob plates. It also trips if you turn anything back to the off position regardless of what is turned on, such as one hob plate.
The landlord assumed it was the cooker and replaced it with a brand new cooker but the faults remain. I’m thinking it could be a faulty 32A MCB. Anyone with any other ideas?
