Is working on commission better for electricians?

So I spoke with a classmate from high school, he's now into HVAC servicing. i just learned they are primarily paid on commission, even getting incentivized with quotas and bonuses.

I know electrical work is different with all the complicated wiring and safety regulations, but i'm curious about the potential for higher earnings!

Anyone here know a thing or two about the commission pay structure for electricians?

These can be a nice addition to a steady hourly wage . Stick to the basics and focus on reliable pay structures that reward skill and experience. It is what has kept many electricians thriving over the years.
