Now that we are getting close to the holiday rush, are you giving your generators or backup systems a little extra attention? This is the time of year when equipment suddenly remembers it can misbehave.

If you have a December checklist for keeping everything ready, what is the first thing you always verify? I would love to hear what you focus on before the busy season hits.

I double check fuel and connections before anything else. With family schedules packed in December, I don’t want surprises if the power drops. Making sure nothing is loose or borderline gives me peace of mind. Holiday outages hit different when the house is full.
