For electricians who tried discounted online courses, how credible were they?

A few online certification and training platforms are still showing discounted prices even after Cyber Monday, and before anyone here signs up, it would be great to hear from electricians who’ve already gone through some of these courses.

If you’ve taken any of these online programs before, were they legit and actually helpful in the field? We’re also hoping to get insight on accreditation, the quality of the exams, and whether the certificates were recognized by employers or local agencies.

Sharing your experience can help other electricians figure out if these discounted programs are worth checking out. Any honest feedback is appreciated.

I’ve tried a couple of those discounted courses. Some are fine for refreshers or CE credits, but none of them replace real hands-on work. If it’s not state-approved or recognized by your local board, it’s basically just knowledge, not a credential. Good learning, limited career value.
